Harlen and Karien’s wedding at Elephant Sands in Botswana was unlike anything we’ve ever had the privilege to capture – raw, wild, and breathtakingly beautiful.

Set in the heart of the African bush, their ceremony took place with a natural waterhole as the backdrop and elephants casually wandering in the distance. It was the kind of setting that makes you pause and soak in just how extraordinary love – and nature – can be when they come together.

Karien’s walk down the aisle felt cinematic. Surrounded by untouched wilderness and the gentle hum of the bush, she radiated calm confidence and joy. Harlen’s eyes said it all when he saw her.

The couple portraits were a dream – golden light, open landscapes, and the occasional elephant adding a little magic to the frame. There’s something deeply grounding about photographing love in such an untamed environment.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, the celebration continued under the stars with close friends, laughter, and a dance floor lit by firelight and fairy lights. It was intimate, meaningful, and completely unforgettable.
